Palace Result

Palace remain unbeaten after a pulsating climax to the game in which we grabbed a late late equaliser through Morrison after Leicester looked to have sealed the points. Palace lead 1-0 at half time thanks to Stuart Green's free-kick. After a dull opening the game burst into life after Green's strike and Palace could have doubled their lead through Matt Lawrence's shot after a smart move but his effort was well saved by the City keeper. Peter Taylor will be disappointed with the way Palace let their half-time lead slip - but must be happy with the way they secured a point, despite conceding the second with just three minutes left on the clock, to keep up their unbeaten start to the season. Thankfully, Palace were knocked out of the league cup on Tuesday night so we can concentrate on the real business of the league and FA Cup rather than waste time on a pointless and worthless distraction.

Next fixture: Sunday 26th away to Ipswich.

Well, this is a REAL fan talking. You even see the positve side of losing a game and getting knocked out of a competition, ha ha.
Are you able to see the games via the internet?

  2. Hi Paul, thanks for stopping by.
Nice to know someone reads my Palace updates. I like so many other English supporters am fed up with the league cup. It really is a waste of time and leads only to fixture congestion. Most English teams tend to field under strength squads for the tournament (a trend started by Man Ure) and show the cup very little respect. Hopefully one day it will simply disappear.

I used to listen to live games on the web in Zim but now most English football websites (including Palace) are managed by premiumtv.co.uk who charge ludicrous amounts of money to allow access to both live games and highlights of games.

How I long to stand on the terraces and chant for the Eagles again!

    Cheers
