Despite the overly negative approach of Palace's play on Boxing day, our win on New Year's Day makes it eight points from a possible 12 over the Christmas period. Palace made a poor start to the first half and Norwich should has been one or two goals to the good. But goals from Mark Hudson and Shefki Kuqi gave Palace a two-goal cushion. A Norwich penalty pulled a goal back for the Canaries minutes before the break, but Stuart Green's strike right on half time restored the Eagles' two-goal advantage. After the break Palace had the best of it and limited Norwich to scraps around the edge of the box, while nearly extending their own lead. So, far from being a disgraceful performance, Palace turned on a bit of style and won quite easily. Long may it continue!
