Since his leg amputation he's highly immobile, and Joyce (his wife) has been really struggling to meet his care needs. Unfortunately the local home based care team (not our HOPE ladies!) has let the family down quite badly, and now Joyce must make some difficult decisions.
Please stand with Joyce in prayer as she navigates a very difficult path. She & Michael love each other dearly, but Joyce simply cannot provide him with the care he needs.
A friend of the family is investigating a govt run care home for Michael, but it is almost 50 kilometres from their home in Chris Nissen, and as much as he needs the full time care, Joyce is heartbroken at the thought of not seeing him regularly.
Also, Michael is fully compos mentis, and is still capable of conversation etc, but he also knows that Joyce simply can't cope with his care needs.
Please pray for a good outcome that works for both Michael and Joyce
