Yesterday's Women's Day Outreach at The Gathering was spectacular and we're thankful to God for making it the day that it was. One salvation, a healing and a deliverance made it an awesome time in God's presence, and we're also thankful for His amazing answer to our prayer for electricity for the event.

Early in the morning we had a desperate call from one of our church members in the community telling us that there had been a small explosion and it had wiped out the local electricity supply.

So we kicked in to gear, got the church praying and then made a plan to crack on regardless. In fact, the only bit that would have been disrupted was the hair styling, because the nail dryers are battery operated and all the hot water for the foot washing and drinks could be done on the gas. And we have a backup battery powered portable sound system just for such occasions.

Thankfully however our prayers were answered and the power was on. It turned out that from just the other side of Macassar Rd right down in to Macassar itself the power was off all day until about 11pm, whilst Firgrove was miraculously back on very early.

Once again this morning we had trouble with the electricity supply as we lost the power just before we began our Gathering. No worries, the backup sound system was quickly wheeled out and the laptop which runs our audiovisuals was hooked up to it, et voila... church continued in a different but no less Spirit filled Gathering.

Thank you LORD!
