Paula & I were away for a few nights sans enfants (they're big enough and ugly enough to fend for themselves!) and were really enjoying the long overdue break when we got a rather desperate call from son #1.
Apparently there was an outbreak of maggots in son #2's bedroom and son #1 was taking some responsibility for dealing with the situation, so in fairness only one of them is a numpty (on this occasion at least).
Without getting into too much unnecessarily gory detail, let's just say that the lesson about removing unfinished food and dirty washing-up from their bedooms has finally been learnt and they now realise that when we ask about such things we are not nagging. LOL!
