Pastoring a church is never easy and it comes with a lot of challenges, but it also comes with a lot of joy and blessings.

One of those blessings is the joy of getting to deliver boxes of food to four of our local primary schools, knowing that the most vulnerable children at each one will be taken care of with a meal before lessons each day.

Life really doesn't get much better than that!

False Bay Primary in Macassar was my first stop. I like this school and think they're doing a great job with very limited resources. It is a makeshift school of portakabin style classrooms, and whilst they're doing their best, sadly it's not a well thought of school by most parents whose children attend.

Next stop was Marvin Park Primary in Macassar. This was a fun delivery because one of the teachers whom I know sent his kids to help unload the boxes, and they were happy knowing they get to miss a few minutes of class and will get something to eat.

My final delivery in Macassar was to Mac' Primary where Linda teaches, see the top photo.

After three deliveries in to Macassar it was good to go to Firgrove Primary, knowing that many of the kids who come to our Soup Kitchen will be blessed at school too.
