Despite Paula's best attempt to scupper our UK trip by throwing herself down a hill, I did at least manage to keep one engagement.
On Sunday I had the joy & privilege of preaching at St Andrew's in Oxshott, one of our partner churches.

Of the thirty four wedding anniversaries we've celebrated, this is probably the most unusual.
We're still trying to process all that has happened in the last 24 hours and what it all means for our plans. Sadly we've had to cancel most of what we had planned, and our longed for family getaway has been canned for now. This is truly heartbreaking.
After six years and Covid, we're finally returning to conduct some of our Roadshows (see details in the image).
We will send out more detailed information for each Roadshow and church visit nearer the time, but in the meantime please make a date in your diary and we hope to see you very soon.
We're really enjoying our Roadshow events and are particularly enjoying the variety of different contexts in which we get to present about Tree of Life and our amazing friends in South Africa.
Today we were in the well heeled town of Cobham and had the privilege of sharing our Roadshow with a lovely bunch of folk from St. Andrew's, Oxshott.
So, we'd only been home for the afternoon and it started raining. What's that all about then?!?
Despite being fleeced of ninety quid by the thieving swines at BA for having bags over 23kgs (despite our almost 300kg allowance!) we had a long, smooth and easy journey. It's good to be back home and really pleased to be in the midst of unpacking and sorting things out.
This evening we'll be at 30 Bannerdale Road, S7 2DL in Sheffield for our final Facing The Mountain Roadshow.
